Andrew is a network industry veteran with global executive leadership and innovation experience in technical development, sales, support and marketing.
Andrew has 20 years experience in building, growing and managing pre-sales, post-sales, sales and marketing groups from start-up to multi-billion dollar operation. Originally from the UK, Andrew spent 12 years in the Asia Pacific region (Hong Kong & Tokyo) before settling in the San Francisco Bay Area in 2006.
Before starting Kirin Solutions, Andrew was VP of Strategy, Marketing, Product Management at Carrier IQ where he set strategy and product direction, built sales and marketing messaging and collateral, worked with global operators on implementing Carrier IQ solutions and handled a major PR crisis. Prior to Carrier IQ, he held various Vice President positions at Juniper Networks, including VP Service Provider Marketing, VP Market Intelligence, VP Technical Operations and CTO, Asia Pacific. Prior to Juniper Networks, Andrew co-started the Asia Pacific offices of Unisphere Networks, a Siemens-funded start-up company later acquired by Juniper. In these and other positions, Andrew consulted with a wide variety of service providers, enterprises, and governments for whom he designed and planned some of the largest networks in Asia and the first government backbone IP networks in the United Kingdom.
